Sky Charts![]() These are a 21 page chart of the Night Sky compiled by Andrew Johnson and released with a creative commons license. You can print it with your home printer for use on the field. It is a cheap alternative to buying a dedicated sky atlas. Orbitron lets you identify satellites you've seen as well as predict upcoming passes of popular satellites such as the ISS or other less popular satellites. It allows you to customize observing lists based on current lunar phase and the size of your instrument. Many packages are available from the most basic software package all the way to the most complex. Stellarium Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer.
