For Schools

We are willing to organize an astronomy themed activity at your school. We are experienced in holding star gazing activities, telescope viewings and giving out astronomy lectures to all levels from elementary to high school and even teachers.

We don't charge for this public service which we are proud to do. Please consider though that UP Astrosoc is bounded by constraints such as time and manpower as all our members are currently studying. This means that not all requests can push through. However if we can accomodate it and we can find enough people who are free at the requested time and date, we will push through with the event.

To maximize the possibility of your planned event pushing through, please notify us in advance so that we can plan it beforehand.Telling us in advance helps us locate members who are free for that date and reserve that date in their schedules. A lead time of 2-3 months is a good estimate of how long we have to prepare.
